For teachers who previously met the standard but whose certification has lapsed due to missing CPD, insurance, or renewal requirements.
For teachers who are fully assessed, insured, up to date with CPD, and officially recognised in the public directory.
Certification under SBK Teaching Standards is valid for one year from the date of issue. To maintain active certified status, teachers must:
Failure to renew within the required timeframe will result in certification lapsing until all renewal requirements are met.
Optional CPD courses will be added soon. Teachers may also use external CPD, observations, workshops, or other relevant training to complete their remaining 20 hours. All CPD must be evidenced.
